Big tides uncovering perfect hard sands for buggying/landboarding. A mixture of flattish water and waves, with a north easterly swell the waves can jack up rather nicely. This spot is underated and I shouldn't really be advertising it but its my favourite local spot for anything from the south. Come try it out, kitepsycho(Best)
We have maybe a dozen rows of wooden posts running from beach into the sea but when the tide is going out these aren't an issue.
A lot of dog walkers but people are super friendly and are always amazed by kitesurfing. The harbour is on the North end of the beach so if you have trouble going upwind make sure you give yourself an exit point. I taught myself to kitesurf here and i came out fine. there is a local kiteschool based on the beach so if you do require any help get in contact or just ask a local kiter on the beach. We are all super super friendly and don't believe in localism, the more people we can get into this sport safely the better.

Gorleston on Sea.
Hi, I visiting Norfolk this summer in August and looking for kiting spots
between Gt. Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Is there any flat water spots (Maybe
Oulton broad)?
